Adoptaplatoon is a wonderful organization - making sure all our servicemen (and ladies) get mail. We might take it for granted now as something of the past and Bronte-esque, but a hand written letter (or a package) means a great deal. So if you found yourself Memorial Day, or any day, wishing / wanting to do something for our service personnel in Cammies (God bless 'em)...visit the site and volunteer to be a penpal or adopt one of those over there. Depending on the amount of volunteers they've had it could take a wee bit to hear back, but it's worth it.
