Koz got me this magazine called "Paste." Every month it comes with a CD of (I'm guessing) up and coming artists. One of them that struck my fancy tonight was "California Girls" by Magnetic Fields. Sort of the opposite of the Beach Boys' take.
The music may sound scratchy, as if someone recorded the band live on a cell phone, but that's how it sounds on the CD too. I can only assume this is on purpose. (I'm too busy to do so myself, but if you like the sound, read up on them on Wikipedia.)
Anyway, when I heard the lyric, "I hate California Girls," I knew I had to dedicate this to Schrodinger.
