Daily Lynx (November 05, 2007)

A couple of leftover Halloween Lynx (I think you can still use them)

1. Make yourself a Christopher Walken Mask. When can't you use this?

2. Remember the other day when the P.O.D. were jack-o-lanterns? Well, these dudes have geek-o-lanterns, and they beat my pictures all hollow. My favorites: Pan's Labyrinth and Scar from Lion King.

3. Time to find out how much you know about movies from the last 25 years, with this Multiple Choice Movie Quiz. I missed one (the Mean Girls question, a movie I haven't seen, which I was then mocked by the gods for by clicking on TBS this weekend 4 different times when that very scene played). I don't expect you to only miss one, as you do not know movies (or take quizzes) as well as I, but you should get at least 15 if you call yourself a movie fan.

And those are your Lynx for Monday. Get 'em, Monkeys!

Haha the zombie lantern is photoshopped. It's not even a carved pumpkin.

There seem to be several of those lanterns that were photoshopped.

Now, about that movie quiz...Not exactly representative of the past 25 years of cinema. I missed one too (the question about "The Incredibles" but I also had a lucky guess since I haven't seen "Pan's Labyrinth" yet either). I also have to take issue with question #15, "Who directed the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?" I am going to be a stickler and say that it was not a remake. Two separate movies that were both based on the same book, but differ vastly in their final vision. Plus the 1971 version was "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and the 2005 version was "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."
