In retrospect, what would you say was the worst fashion decision you ever made, on the basis that it was horribly trendy at the time?
I myself had several pairs of acid wash jeans I wore through most of the 1980s, along with a matching acid wash denim jacket. And a thin, pink leather tie.

First of all, acid-washed jeans have always been cool, and I didn't wear them because of fashion trends. My brother and I got jeans and jackets, both acid-washed denim, for Christmas one year, and a stellar year that was.
However, I will own up to wearing some Hammer-type pants for awhile. Actually, screw that. They were quite comfortable, thank you.
I also had a pair of break-dancing or parachute pants. They were hella-sweet, but the more I think about it, the more those dumb zippers got caught everywhere.
I admit to using leg warmers when I was a kid. Loved, loved, loved them!
shirt ties I fell for them. I look back now saying why not buy a smaller shirt
for me it was make up - yellow mascara -- also big hair -- EEK!!!
Blue mascara and white eyeshadow, with big furry permed hair.
Ooh, perms and leg-warmers. Ouch. And hot-pink everything!
