And I would walk 500 more

I'm so ashamed to be so un-pirate like, but I can't help it. I was wondering from y'all what was the nicest thing that anyone's done for you? Walked 500 miles?

My brother saved my life, but that's probably not what you're getting at. My mom would claim it's giving birth to me, but everyone's mom did that. (Although she'd claim in my case, as big as I was, it was extra special.)

This is harder than I thought. I'll consider and get back to you.

When I was 15 I wasn't getting along very well with my parents. Teenagers often have conflicts with parents, but at the time I thought my life was just awful. I was miserable.

My aunt and uncle knew I was having a hard time and invited me to stay with them for a week. They both took the whole week off work and spent the entire time with me. We went to movies, shopping, dinner, shows and just hanging out at their home playing cards and watching tv. It was one of the happiest weeks of my life and I have never forgotten it.

My uncle passed away a couple of years ago. After the funeral, my aunt gave me a photo of my uncle and I taken that week. I have it on my desk at work.

Aitch once bailed me out of jail at about 2 a.m. I'm still paying him back.
